About Sharon

Sharon Morgan is a clinical Pilates practitioner, educator, and movement facilitator with four decades of experience woven across sports coaching, coach education, physical performance, massage, horticultural therapy, environmental education, and personal rehabilitation.

She began her Pilates training in 2017 with the Australian Institute of Physiotherapy and Pilates (APPI) and holds recognised membership with CIMSPA and EMD UK. That foundation continues to grow through ongoing professional development.

Sharon’s particular interests lie in movement in all its forms, healthy communities, balance and cognition in ageing, reducing fall risk, and the potential of mat Pilates as a non-invasive, cost-effective research tool.

She believes in patient, consistent work to retrain and strengthen movement, celebrating the small steps, staying playful, and finding joy in the process. Outside of work, she is happiest with family and close to water.

Sharon welcomes conversations that spark curiosity and connection. Coffee and cake always help.

About APPI

The Australian Physiotherapy & Pilates Institute (APPI) is internationally recognised for its scientific rigour and high standards of training. Its method is built on clear clinical reasoning, structured progression, and a commitment to ongoing development. It is trusted by healthcare professionals worldwide, including the NHS.

Founded by physiotherapists, APPI interprets Joseph Pilates’ original work through the lens of modern anatomy, biomechanics, and research. The result is a clinically sound, adaptable system suitable for most people.
