About Sharon
Sharon Morgan is a thoughtful and highly experienced clinical Pilates practitioner and movement facilitator. In 2017 she embarked on her comprehensive mat work training with the Australian Institute of Physiotherapy and Pilates (APPI) and is a recognised member of CIMSPA and EMD UK.
Today, this initial Pilates training and ongoing professional development are woven into a rich journey spanning nearly four decades in sports coaching, coach education, physical performance, massage, horticultural therapy, environmental education, and personal experience of rehabilitation.
Professional interests include movement in any form, healthy communities, balance and cognition in ageing, reducing fall risk, and the use of Pilates as a non-invasive and cost-effective research tool.
Sharon is a strong believer in retraining and strengthening movement over time, celebrating the small steps, remaining playful, and enjoying the journey. Away from work, she is happiest with family, and anywhere she can get into the water.
Sharon welcomes conversations that spark curiosity and connection. Preferably with coffee and cake.
